RESEARCH INTEREST

 Kinetics of the  hydrogen-induced diffusive phase (HIDP) transformations in R2Fe14B (R — Nd, Pr, Dy, Er and other rare-earth metals), Y2Fe17 and Sm2Fe17 type hard magnetic alloys, influence of the parameters of the HIDP-treatment (hydrogen presssure, temperature, processing time) on microstructure features of the R2Fe14B alloy (X-ray, optical, SEM analisys), application of the kinetic theory phase transformations in condenced state to kinetics of the HIDP-transformations in R2Fe14B alloy, effect of hydrogen atoms as an  interstitial atoms on HIDP-transformations kinetics.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Kinetic theory of phase transformations in condenced state;
  • Theory diffusion and numerical methods of solution of the partial differential equations; 
  • Optical microscope analysis;
  • Microstructural analysis;
  • Image processing and computer simulations;
